I am a 200 hour Independent Yoga Network certified yoga teacher who trained with Studio One Yoga in the North West.

I started my yoga journey and first realised my passion over 20 years ago thanks to my wonderful Mum. Since then I have practised many styles of yoga although mainly Hatha, Iyengar & Vinyasa Flow.

My love and understanding of yoga grew deeper and deeper over time which led me to embark on my teacher training with the inspiring Michelle Almond & Maxine Geary.

Over the years I have continued to attend regular workshops and courses with teachers that include, Taylor Harkness, Lesley Kaminoff & Mackenzie Miller. I also completed my Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Norman Blair in 2018. I am continually learning and look forward to more courses and workshops this year.

Everyone could use more yoga in their lives, so I hope to see you on the mat soon. Namaste x

I am often asked what style of yoga do I teach, I expect this is because there are so many different styles around these days.
My style of yoga is an Authentic Hatha Yoga Flow a fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa focusing on strength, alignment & you. Postures are held in-between flow sequences giving the body time to ensure correct alignment. This builds strength within the body and also gives fluidity to the movement by using the breath.
My Hatha Flow classes are suitable for all levels whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned yogi as lots of variations will be given making it accessible to everyone.
My classes are fun and relaxed yet challenging within each individual's limits.
Whether you want to move your body, reach spiritual growth, or something else, I know you’ll benefit from my practice.
Something I know for sure is that everyone could use more yoga in their lives.

All classes are currently online and accessed through either Zoom or Facebook Live.

Yoga Class

Wellbeing at work is at the heart of creating positive working environments where individuals and organisations can thrive. Good health and wellbeing at work can enhance productivity and performance. Offering regular or one-off sessions to suit clients needs.

A private 121 session is a great way to start your yoga practice and gain confidence in the foundation poses before joining a group yoga class or they provide the more experienced yogi opportunity to enhance their practice and work on more advanced poses. Sessions can be offered in my home yoga studio or in the comfort of your own home.

Lucie’s classes are welcoming, well thought out and I always enjoy them.
In her mixed ability classes, Lucie is always there to help or to offer different positions, to help people with past injuries or like me, a less bendy body.

Helen Welch

I started coming to yoga with Lucie whilst training for a marathon. I believe she helped me stay injury free and was definitely part of my recovery. I live my life at 100 miles an hour and Lucie, with regular practice, has slowed me down. Lucie’s Yoga is really for mind and body. I love coming to class

Lucie’s classes are welcoming and very inclusive.
If you’ve practiced Yoga for years or a beginner everyone is made to feel comfortable and the class members are lovely too.
Lucie is a great Yogi and is very supportive.
I always feel lifted when I’ve finished the class and we also manage to have a laugh.
If you’ve not done Yoga before give Lucie's classes a go as you’ll feel welcomed and you’ll end up with lovely toned arms to boot!

Joanne Thomson

Initially I was a little apprehensive about starting a yoga class. I was concerned with being a man that I would be the odd one out, but I needn’t have worried. The class was really welcoming, there were a few other guys in there and Lucie is an excellent teacher. She’s got the perfect blend between focusing on all the positions, breathing techniques and making sure we are all doing it the right way, whilst still being able to make the class slightly convivial.

I find the class really helps with being more supple, but also by helping massively with the stresses and strains of everyday work and life. Give it a go...

Dave Sedgwick

Lucie is a fabulous yoga teacher whose classes never disappoint. She is a wonderfully warm teacher who really cares about giving the best to everyone who attends. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or total beginner you will love the vibe, the flow and the bigger picture that Lucie’s classes have to offer. I look forward to my classes every week.

Alison Ford

As a small business, we aim to support the health and well being of our fabulous team, professionally, but also personally. As part of this, we invited Lucie to come along and teach an initial class, designed to release stress and help calm the mind after a busy day at work.

She was met by a slightly nervous, rather self conscious and relatively inexperienced bunch of yogi's!  However, they need never have feared! A combination of Lucie's passion and enthusiasm for yoga, her great knowledge, depth of personal experience, friendly and approachable nature have meant that the classes have gone from strength to strength and have now become a regular, not to be missed, date in the diary

“Balance is key. In everything you do. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale salad when your body needs it. Wear high heels on Saturday and walk barefoot on Sunday. Go shopping at the mall and then sit down and meditate in your bedroom. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are and live your authentic truth! Be brave and bold and spontaneous and loud and let that complement your abilities to find silence and patience and modesty and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and don’t let anybody tell you how to live according to theirs.”
